Our Impact on Planet and People

Eliminating methane and repurposing manure into a zero-emission amino acid fertilizer before it is applied avoids 83% of major agricultural emissions, with an impact at a global, gigaton scale.

Manure Emissions

Manure handling and its use as fertilizer account for an estimated 59% of Europe's major agricultural emissions. Just 17% comes from enteric methane emissions. Our BioPhase technology eliminates 99% of slurry methane emissions and repurposes the slurry, effectively eliminating its use as a fertilizer.

Mineral Fertilizers

Mineral fertilizers are responsible for the remaining 24% of Europe's major agriculture emissions. Our fertilizer manufacturing sequesters .6 tons of methane for each ton of nitrogen fertilizer, and removes 1.1 tons of CO2 per ton of our phosphorus and potassium biochar fertilizer, making it carbon-negative with virtually zero emissions following application.

Planet and People

Farmers are disproportionately exposed to the seasonl impacts of cliamte change, fragile supply chains, and tightening policies around livestock and mineral fertilizer emessions.

We mitigate these risks by localizing production - manufacturing our fertilizer 'kilometers, not continents' from the farm. This avoids geopolitics, unlocks policy incentives, and avoids carbon emissions taxes.

By leveraging advanced technology and biology, we deliver a superior performing, carbon-negative, NPK  fertilizer at price parity to mineral fertilizers.
